i had a similar issue except mines was so bad it would jerk and jump when trying to flaw it to overtake someone. "flushed" my fluid and adjusted the cable. drives like a dream still. stock tranny at 231k miles

Unfortunately, I don't understand those directions.

Is this what you mean by "grey button and push plunger"?

Ok, this looks like the procedure.
Typically, the guys hand is in the way in the video, so you can't even see what he's doing. LOL
Is he pressing the cable sheath in or the inner cable itself?

This could be it. My tranny has been clunking into gear for at least a year now, and I never got the confidence up to remove the driveshaft and grease the front slip yoke.

you don't need to remove the front driveshaft, nor is there a slip yoke in front.

Only place that has a slip yoke is on the rear of the transfer case.

To grease the front driveshaft, there's a grease zerk on it.
