Default Accelerating uphill, successive slight jerks.

Only when accelerating uphill, there are successive slight jerks.
Almost like something is skipping or slipping.
RPMs don't go down. Car doesn't stall or anything.
Only happens going uphill. Same acceleration on flat ground is fine.
Car runs great, only this slight jerking up hills

It is definitely ONLY at very specific hills.
Happens in the exact same sections of road.

Without being in it while driving I can't say exactly but sounds like trans is slipping.. Bring it to a local shop if you can't get it figured out

Automatic, but it's not shifting during the lurching jerks.
RPM gauge is steady. Tranny is filled to proper level.

2WD vs 4WD? Could your rear slip yoke splines be worn out?

bimmer try this. may or may not be the fix but guess what. free And no tools needed. just let us know if you did it already.

1) park jeep
2) turn jeep off
3) open hood
4) locate TV cable on TB
5) Depress grey button and push plunger in all the way
6) let grey button go
7) go in jeep and press accelerator a the way down
8) you should hear clicking from the TV cable adjuster

whAt youre describing may be the jeep wanting to shift but since its out of adjustment it feels jerky. and please dont say anything else until you try that and drive for a month please and thank you.
