Ac only blows through window defrost..

Default Ac only blows through window defrost..

It never was like this it's cold may need a charge but no matter what spot it's on it's still the defrost.. It fogs up my window and it's annoying. Any ideas it's a 2 door 98xj

Check the vacuum canister behind the bumper when i busted mine it did the same thing and the cruise control wouldnt work either

I had a similar problem, it was a vacuum leak.

If the vacuum line hasnt come off the ball behind the bumper check the line as it runs behind the battery. ive had 2 that had rubbed on the battery and were loosing vacuum there.

still nothing.. i was told theres also one behind the control panel for the ac but i havent yet had time to look..

Im having a similar prob except as my rpm go up the ac and heat switch from vent to defrost. Could that be the cannister?
