Default Ac confusion

I have a 2000 cherokee sport since I bought it a year ago the ac hasn't work the fan blows but the doesn't get cold so today I went and got some 134a and tried filling it up but the compressor never started turning over and the air never got any cooler I have checked the relay and the fuse and both are still good. During this winter while driving it around with the defroston the compressor would turn over but now that it's warm out I get nothing. Hoping some one can help me out here any advice would be awesome also where can I buy the plug for the balist resistor the guy I bought the jeep from really did a number on this one I will try and post pics of his handy work later thnx

What ballast resistor? Something to do with the A/C?

Trying to get A/C working can involve a lot more than just trying to jam some Freon in it.

I recommend you take your Jeep to a professional for a diagnosis and fix.

Save your money somewhere else, like oil changes and tire rotations.
