Abs Ring
Jeep Cherokee XJ 2001, Two Wheel Drive
While replacing my ball joints I accidently crushed the ABS ring at the end of the hub. Has anyone replaced this piece or worked with it? Several local auto stores tried selling me an entirely new wheel hub without the ABS rings at the end.

ABS is for FORD's anyway...it is really not needed in a jeep.

pull the fuses and relays for the ABS out and it will not function and you will have normal brakes

ABS
I removed the ABS fuse & relay from the electrical connection box under hood and fixed my ABS problem. I have been trying to fix for 6 months. Thanks for the help !
