What does it mean when your ABS light comes on? It just turned on last night when I went drifting (michigan where I live got 8inches of snow). And now after running awhile it will come on for no reason. Then it shuts off when I shut the Jeep off and turn it back on.

probably iced up a sensor or reluctor ring. Unless you got into something that ripped a wire out a the hub. Let it thaw (in a few months) it might start working on it's own.

Try going to a car wash and blasting the underside where the sensor are with water to clean them up and see if that fixes it.

I cant wait till i'm back in MI, southerners in snow are pissing me off

lol I drove from GA back to NC (mostly all mountain road driving and more snow in GA then NC) this sunday night and had a blast drifting the curvy roads. It was alittle scary when theres a 500 ft drop occasionally to the side of the road. Heck NC started salting the roads when there was a treat of snow a week before it actually snowed (1 yr ago we got like 8" and it shut down everything for days). I wanted to find a parking lot to really hang it out but everywhere was plowed by time i got home.

LOL... Sadly I agree with you. I think Michigan needs more snow.

It means you might have screwed up a speed sensor in the wheel while "drifing". You have to either get the code reset, or wait 50+/- vehicle start cycles for it to reset itself. Disconnecting the battery will NOT reset the error stored in the memory.
