Default ABS d35 to non abs 8.25

So I found a 29 spline 8.25 out of a 98,but what do I do about the fact that I have abs on my 97 xj w/ d35?Be happy to not have abs,The actual swap seems to be not to hard but I dont know what to do with the existing abs system,do I remove lines?fuses, relays?sensors?Non abs would be better for the trail anyway.I searched alot about this swap but didnt find anything good about the abs issue

you should be able to as frankz said, disconnect the fuse, or pull some of the sensors or anything of that sort, when the ABS self checks (I imagine these are the same as any other abs system) it should realize that it isnt within working capabilities, and disable itself therefore leaving you with the normal braking system.

What should I do with the line to the sensor in the rear wheel?

No need to worry about 'em. Once the ABS fuse is pulled the system is nonfunctional.

If you're never going back to an ABS axle then either option is fine.

Pull all of the fuses pertaining to the ABS sytem.
