jeep wont start....it turns over but wont fire

when you give it gas (as if it had a carb) when starting it will "spit and sputter" but just wont fire

i have a 99 with 125k miles on it

im thinking the fuel pump but im not sure

if it is....any suggestions on fuel pumps? are some better than others? I get my parts from napa usually

Let me know what you experts think it is

I have no check engine lights...thing ran perfect about 6 hours prior...never any issues

 

IF you think it's a fuel problem the first thing you need to do is verify your fuel pressure on the fuel rail with a mechanical pressure gauge.
