So i have a 2.5 in my current manual 4 wheel drive 88 Cherokee and it has a rod knock. I have found a inline six 90 cherokee with manual transmission and 4wheel drive with a wrecked front end. now i have done some research and i know that i need to remove the tranny, engine mounts, and wiring harness however i want to know if the transfer case bolt directly? and will i have to move the radiator? I was thinking about installing a electric fan instead of the clutch fan since they are better in general and i don't know if this would help clear the distance. also would the ecu be transferable? any input would be useful!
