Question 99 cherokee won't start or idle

I had my cherokee runnin last night and I went to move it this morning and I had to jump it to get it started.. Which I figured the battery was dead, no big deal. But after getting it started I have to hold the gas at 1k on my tach for it to stay running. If I let off it dies right away. I have no idle.. Help please. Idk what to do

Sounds like the throttle position sensor

It could be the throttle position sensor but there are other factors that u have to look at. Is ur alternator putting out enough juice? Is ur battery charged up enough? Does it run rough? Does the engine have any codes?

What about it having no power at all? Like no dash lights or dome lights?

Its got a brand new alternator I put in bout 3 months ago. Its doesn't run rough at all.I doubt the battery is charged up enough cause when I put the jumper cables on it and hit em together I got no sparks and I have no dash lights or dome lights at all...

Could also be your ignition/run relay, its the same as the a/c relay, located in the engine bay, right beside each other. Switch the 2 just to see if thats it. Also check all fuses, may be something easy and cheap.
