Hi everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read this post. We're having problems with this engine and we're hoping someon here could help us out. The car was stalling and cutting off until it stopped working completely. Now everyone says the ECU is dead, but we want to try something else before resorting to chaning the ECU. If anyone has a wiring diagram for this car, the ECU, anything would be much appreciated. We hooked it up to several diagnostics and nothing, alwas returns: can't communicate with the PCM and/or serial link failure. Also, there's a yellow warning light on the top left corner of the dash. Please find attached photos documenting all of the above, together with the VIN number and a photo of the ECU tag. Thank you very much !

If you have the 2.5 Turbo Diesel VM engine, the OBD section and codes for
it are found beginning on page 1947 of the manual. The wiring diagrams are
in section 8W. I would suggest you post on an Australian forum where there
are a good number of diesel Jeep owners and someone may have a ready answer
