Engine start problem Grand cherokee 5.2
Hi i have problem with my Grand cherokee 1997 5.2L When I try to start engine in the morning it is necessary to spin too long ... about 10-15 seconds, and only then the engine start to work. Immediately after the ride if I try to start engine again,it start without problems, but again, if the engine is turned off more than half an hour, the same problem occurs again, you need 10-15 seconds for engine start. The battery is good, good starter spinning, the car has a built-in gas appliance Lovato. Otherwise when I start the engine it works perfectly on petrol and gas.
Please for help if someone knows what it's about, and how to improve it .. Thanks in advance.

Are you Italian?
The Lovato system should be multipoint injected.
Jeep starts with gasoline and once started switches automatically to LPG.
You have a fuel pressure problem. Probably the fuel check valve (in the pump, non serviceable) not working.
The fuel line bleeds back in the tank.
Could also be the fuel pump cut off switch being operated when on LPG. Some installers do that to prevent the FP from spinning uselessly.
Vehicle moving + pump not spinning = lose pressure.
That's the famous Hamletic dilemma of all LPGers: to pump or not to pump...

Mine does it all the time, my fuel pump is about to go, however there is a chance your CPS is going, next time you go to start it after it sat, check for spark, if there is no spark during those cycles, look into your Crank Position sensor, if there is spark, look into your fuel system, if its after it sits, maybe you got some contaminates in your fuel tank, or its been a while since your fuel filter was replaced, just some food for thought
