Not sure if I picked the right category but I'm a newbie so here goes. I have a 98 jeep Cherokee sport that is stalling and sputtering after it runs for about five minutes. It will start back up and then die again or it will just crank and crank until finally starting and then will die. I have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel regulator, distributor cap, rotor button, pick up coil, coil pack, spark plugs and wires, air filter, and idle control sensor. I put it on a computer and code po320 came up which is no crank reference signal at pcm in my manual but the mechanic that pulled it up assured me it was the pick up coil and distributor cap which didn't fix it...any idea what or where to go from here I am at my wits end... Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated.

Crankshaft position sensor is probably bad.

Read the testing procedure listed here in post # 3.
