I really like the stance of your Cherokee. I'm a fan of the front being about an inch higher than the rear. To keep your rear tire from coming in contact with the fender you need to have longer bump stops.
i dont care for stock honda quads but the crf250r has been great for me, think im gonna try a kxf next though. had to sell the kfx450 in the photo after adding elkas/ houser and everything! got it ready to race at straddleline, but my salivia gland went bad and had 2 surgeries instead, had to sell and still will be trying to pay off for years to come, otherwise i coulda got a much nicer jeep! this one gives me somethin to think learn and work on though.

found out the e-fan wont come on. unless the ac is on. which works for 10 minutes on first starting then blows hot. compressor shuts off, the fan stays on constant while ac is selected.
the Temp gauge reads a bit more then 1line past the 210 mark!
should the fan be coming on?
So i drive with the ac on and sweat my *** off to keep it cool.
how many cpu's are there and whats the one between the front seats? are there others?
For 1997 model year the aux fan won't come on until the ECT reads 218 degrees. The dash gauge has been known to be sorta sketchy so use an OBD-II scanner or something like a ScanGauge widget or ELM327 bluetooth device with your smartphone to discover what temp the PCM actually thinks it is. If the aux fan is capable of coming on then you know the fuses and relays are good. The PCM is the only thing that turns the aux fan on and off.
As for your A/C it's probably low on refrigerant or has a leak.
In an automatic OBD-II XJ there are two computers. The PCM (engine) is located on the driver's side fender beside the air cleaner. The TCU (transmission) is... somewhere. My XJ is a manual so I don't have one. If you found a device between the front seats underneath the center console you've likely discovered the airbag control module. Originally it was under the driver's seat but someone at Chrysler realized (three years later...) that electronic stuff on the floor of vehicles that are popular in the winter is probably a bad idea.
thanks, the ac is charged and and holding the same, i added a full bottle
the second line- high side. on the ac compressor gets hot right away all the way up to the front by the radiator?
i cant find the pcu only this
i guess i lost the photo but it has allot of wires plugged into the back of it

That's the airbag module. The PCM engine computer is under the good on the fender beside the air cleaner.

Sorry your post seems to ask two questions. The red thing that clicks all the time is the evap purge solenoid. It's releasing collected fuel vapours from into the intake.
its strange i found #10 fuse is
Transmission range sensor, duty cycle evap/purge solenoid, radiator fan relay, a/c clutch relay, o2 sensor up/downstream relays, back up lamp switch
but when unplugged the back up lights work the relays have power to them and theres no cel on
i wonder what cycle evap and purge solenoid means
i have the terra flex standerd lca it says there good for up to 3 inch lift
but mine are adjusted almost all the way in and i think i have a 4.4 or 5 lift in the front http://www.jeep4x4center.com/terafle...FZSPfgodPAcAcg
should i replace or adjust them out the steering feels loose and wonders a bit
what would be a good upgrade i dont think my upper arms are adjustable, i will be buying 4.5 springs for the front..
and 3 inch leafs for the rear so i can keep useing the terra 1.5 shackles if i need more lift i can get shackle relocation or different shims for the rear
thats the idea
the upper arms are adjustable!
and the lowers where set at 16 1/4 inch should be 3/8 . which is one more turn around. but the driver side when unbolting popped back . so it had allot of pressure on it , and i havent been able to get the bolt back in trying to ratchet strap it, i may have to pull the front axle with a car, what would cause this
the lca on the other side fell rite off and went on easy also
