Default 96 xj heat soak

Ok I'm new here so...... HI! Back on topic I have a 96 xj and I'm having problems with heat soak I'm sure you guys have addressed this many times before. Ok so I've tried wrapping ignition insulators around the injectors and I've tried putting 1inch hood spacers on for more air flow. If I put 4 pin injectors in it will it help? or does anyone have any ideas of what I could do? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Go to the Jeep dealership. Ask for Part# CBXCB060. It is the heat shield that sits on top of the intake manifold. Mine had it in stock. Cost me $2.35 out the door. Figure for what it costs it is worth a shot.

What makes you think your having heat soak problems? Is it spark knocking with no power or temp gauge maxed out ?

This. Early models I don't think had it, but later ones definitely had them stock, and they're dirt cheap too like Ralph said. It looks like this and all you have to do to install is pull up the injector harness I believe:

Newer injectors with a different spray pattern (i.e. Neon injectors) won't stop heatsoak, the fuel is actually getting too hot inside the injectors themselves and the rail.

Be careful with that. Hood spacers actually decrease airflow through the radiator at speed, as you get a high-pressure area at the base of the windshield that pushes air back down into the engine bay. It will help at low speeds where the fans are creating most of the airflow, but that's it.
