Default 96 Window Removal

I'm trying to get my window seals, and maybe privacy glass, done this week. There are zero videos or threads for a 96 Cherokee. My 96 has the Torx bolt securing the windows but they're blocked, what am I missing?
Thanks in advance!

Does the rod there move out of the way when the window is moved up?
Maybe it'll require an allen key torx?
I wanna say BleepinJeep on youtube shows us how to remove the glass....

Look for a bolt on the underside of the door.

Not sure if the XJ had bolts under there now that i think about it. Might be rivets, like this. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/wi...acement-35533/

Nope, I thought it might too.
I tried to use a torx bit and a wrench but still not enough room.
BleepinJeep's video is for 97+, the one I saw at least.

Will do. I figured even if I could move the "rod" the torx screw would still move with it?

So its similar to a 97-01, then. Mine is a 97. Two bolts at the bottom, like yours. I dont remember if i had to loosen anything else to get the glass. But i do remember that torx was a PITA as someone had blue loctite on it and it wouldnt loosen. Just spun and spun. Ended up breaking the glass.

That thread makes it seem like the nut, which is a torx screw on mine, is all that is holding the glass.

In my '00 I am pretty sure I loosen the nuts that hold in the window regulator.
I want to say there are oblong holes so you don't have to remove the nuts.
Just loosen.
This lets me move the regulator out of the way a bit to get at the torx that holds the window to the regulator.

I will try that but looks like it's not getting done this week. Apparently, TeamCherokee didn't send me the window run seals when I ordered the kit a few months back. Now I have to figure out how to contact them and see if there is anything they will do since it's been so long.

Can you remove the 2 larger bolts on the bracket of that rod and swing it out of the way? I havent studied the inside of the doors, so I'm not sure if that arm will move once the 2 bolts at the bottom are out.

That's what I'm gonna try but no sense in doing it now since I don't have the seals. Unless I misplaced them but I don't think so.
