Fuel pump isn’t the issue - you can hear it prime when you turn the key.

It starts sometimes, but today I tried multiple times and it never started.

any ideas?

 

Check the crankshaft position sensor. They fail often on these and cause exactly your symptoms cranking with no start, even with a working fuel pump. It's located on the top of the bellhousing, near the back of the engine. A faulty connection or a bad sensor won't send the signal needed for spark and injector pulse.
