1st post.

I'm having problems with my 95 jeep Cherokee country 4wd 4.0 liter. When I turn the key to start it I get Jo dummy light for check engine and don't hear my fuel pump turn on. Everything else will work with ignition on. Just won't turn due to lack of fuel.

I use to be able to let the key sit in the ignition on position and after 5 mins or so the check engine dummy light would turn on n I'd hear the fuel pump activate on. Then the truck would start n run. But not anymore.

Yes everything I can see looks fine. I thought aswell however why would I get everything else ?

 

neutral safety switch just fixed mine. and mine wouldnt crank. but i could hear the pump start i think. just an idea.
95 countries rule~! lol

 

R U saying it will turn over and not start due to the fuel pump not coming on
OR
R U saying the engine won't turn over at all ?

 

Have you checked spark? I had no spark, no fuel pump priming and no check engine light, was ign. control fues under the hood, 30 amp.

 

I am having the same start issue in my 94 cherokee limited was starting then issue then wont start at all but I have everything else

 

I checked all fuses and all looks well. I was told maybe it's my PCM. Where is the icm in my jeep? Could that be the problem?

 

I replaced my fuel pump, fuel pump relay, icm, what else could it be

 

Give us some info, what is your fuel pressures numbers, after it primes at key on, and the 15 mins later with key off, and does it have spark, and how strong (color of spark)?
