Y 92 jeep will only start after I have turned it over once or twice. No one has been able to tell me what's wrong so was wondering if anyone had any suggestions

try this - next time you go to start it - turn the key to "on" (without starting) for 5 seconds, then turn to start. If it starts up you have a bad check valve in the fuel pump.

I've tried that, I've also tried priming the fuel pump by turning the key on and off 2 or 3 times then trying to start and it still will not fire until the second crank over

2 of my Xjs do the same thing. The dealer told me it was fuel injectors. Replaced em and still to this day takes 2 times of cranking to fire
