Default 95 cherokee a/c noise

I did a search but couldnt find anything related. I have a 95 cherokee and i thought the blower motor was the cause of the noise(loud squealing) I changed the blower motor and my problem is still the same. I should of listened while the hood was open and engine w/ ac on. Ive detected the distribution block where the a/c lines go into right before gong into the firewall. Anyone know whats wrong and how to fix it? The air still blows cold so i figured refrigerant shouldn't be my problem?

Probably to much freon. My wife's old 95 did the same thing. Turned out it had a little to much freon on the system and it was causing something under the hood to vibrate very quikcly making a humming noise

the sound is coming from the square block that the a/c lines go into right near the heater hoses.

i just let some freon out till it stopped but there is probably a better way, like going to an ac place. it might be in range but on the high side or something
