Hey ya, thanks in advance!

tldr: I forced the key to rotate so the jeep would start then the radio, blower fan, and blinkers just stopped working. Replaced the key cylinder and it is still not working.

I think I goofed... While I was out of town the key wouldn't turn so I jiggled the steering wheel and tried to turn the key for a while but that didn't work. Not wanting to be stuck there I gave the ignition tumbler some extra oomf and it turned over, starting the jeep. The blower fan, radio and blinkers worked intermittently on the way home but the next time I turned it off and back on they were all dead. Simple minded part swapper that I am I changed out the ignition tumbler or key switch, whatever you want to call it, and that didn't help at all. I know there is more under that steering column and I am going to start tearing into it tomorrow or Sunday but I don't really even know what I am looking for at this point. Is there a switch in the column that I broke like I think or is this a coincidence and I have electrical ghosts? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

 

The electrical switch itself is under the column. The switch might be buggered and/or forcing it bent one of the actuator rods. Have a look at this thread.
