He can learn the easy way with a $10 meter.

No bashing here. Just warning the OP not to fall into the trap of throwing expensive parts at a problem because it fixed someone else's similar problem.

But since you brought it up:

YOU need to be more careful/responsible than to tell an inexperienced person to just throw parts at his rig *****-nilly. Don't like being challenged about it? Don't do it then.

Ok well back to helping solve this problem haha but I did try testing stuff but I just can't figure it out so I'm starting to put parts in it. But I'm also pulling parts from a buddies rig and testing them on mine. If you guys tell me what and how to test I will keep testing.

This is the passenger side fender

And this is driver side.

The one on the passenger side looks like it's connected to to a fuel and like some sort of vacuum. There's a plug with 3 wires what are those all supposed to read?

If u figure $20-$25 for a sensor is expensive u need to step ur money game up. Its not a problem this way. But know what ur saying believe me. I put so much money in to my jeep at one time and all it was, was a bad ground. It would be different if I said its the PCM and the op need a new one. Challenged bout wat the op ask for help with the situation just giving an input. my xj runs great. I ain't got no worries

OP, if I understand correctly, you said you didn't check for spark since it fires. If I understand correctly, it fires when it is cold but not after it warms up. Since it possibly isn't firing when it's warm, have you checked for spark then?

Perhaps I'm missing something but thought I would ask.

Cold it will start and run fine. Warm it will fire then die immediately

Took it on a long drive tonight and it did just fine when running at speeds. Pulled onto a gravel road and the first pot hole started to make it act up it died shortly after. Popped the hood and let it cool for maybe 10 min then it started right up and drove the 45 min home. But during the day when it's hot can barley make 10 min trip

You've got some loose connections somewhere. Loose connections that move with motion and they generate heat because of poor conductivity. Start wiggling wires in the engine bay with the engine running and see if you can duplicate the problem. Beware of the FAN!

Yeah that's what I thought but even after I jiggle everything I can't figure out what is loose and I go through it like once a day.
