94 axle in an 88

94 axle in an 88
i have a 88 cherokee with the dana 30 front and a dana 35 in the rear i got a donor 94 cherokee and that one has a dana 30 in the front and a chrysler 8.25 in the rear idk how i can hook up the front axle cause in the 88 the front axle to engage the front axle for 4wd on the 94 axle it dosent have that to engage it so what do i need to do to engage that front axle

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
Move the lever from 2H to 4H, or 4L. Just cap off the vacuum lines that go to the axle, install the 94 axle and be done with it.

you may need to upgrade the master cyl. as well, I did this swap on my MJ. I put a 95 XJ axle on a 87 MJ mainly to get rid of the vacuum disconnect. I ended up having braking probs after. unfortunately I was moving and ended up selling the truck before I was done with it so I'm not sure of the out come.
