94 and 95 ignition lock cylinder

94 and 95 ignition lock cylinder

I'm having issues with my ignition lock cylinder being hard to turn, accessories not working, etc. I've looked around and have seen where the ignition lock cylinder for the 94 and 95 are the same, and where they are different. Could someone please let me know whether or not they are interchangeable?

They are interchangeable, but will not match the door key.

95 and 96 are the same. 94 still uses the gm saginaw column, not even close to the same. Unless we're talking grand cherokee.

Okay got it...thanks. ended up being the ignition switch, now if I can get the horn back together correctly without it continuously honking, ill b good to go
