Default 93 Jeep Cherokee - problem after changed pistons

So I just changed all the pistons on my 93 Jeep Cherokee but now motor will not turn over. I have been working on this truck for a long time and i finally got to where i was gonna fire it up and now it wont do nothing. Im completely lost with no idea what i did wrong. Does anyone have any ideas what i could have done wrong to make motor not turn over? The motor was turning over once i put new pistons in but when i put the valve covers, intake, & oil pan back on the motor it wouldnt turn over. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

we need a bit more information to help with your puzzling situation, such as did you replace the pistons with engine in the vehicle ?..out?...when did you check it was last turning?... etc etc

at any rate..I would take off the valve cover off, and gently attempt to manually turn the crankshaft with a socket

if that does not give you any clues, you will need to follow the instruction..."is a reverse of previous procedure".. until you find the problem

Double check any and all electrical connections you may have accidentally bumped, pinched or cut. Could be old wiring in general. It can work one minute, but not the next. Move it one time too many and you lose the connection. Check the connections for corrossion, too. For the same reason.

when an OP says his engine " wont turn over", I take that to mean exactly what he says..if he means that the starter motor doesnt turn over, that is an entirely different question

If the crankshaft won't turn, chances are he nicked the crank with the rod bolts and ruined the bearings.
