Because my son got hit driving my-90 XJ (total wrecked by a moron in a BMW) i had to get myself a new everyday car. I found an -92 XJ with only 162324 kms (100983 miles) on the clock that was imported from Germany 2003 to Sweden with 130000 kms ( 80000 miles).
I have all documents that show it had only done 30000 kms (18600 miles) in 13 years, and it was rustfree, but not without issues.
Clanking in engine, was only tighting the bolts for converter, and an exploded alternator that I replaced and a lot of small electrical gremlins.
I was able to fix everything except the cruise control.
I need to get an chematics of how it works and where the parts are in the car, as I never had an so new car, always had old American cars and only bought my first XJ 9 years ago (-90XJ) because it had an automatic transmision and due to disably I no longer can drive manual transmision.
I have a few Renix era XJ and MJ but this new one is different in Electronics and I have no clue on this.
A little long winding a bad spelling but I hope someone can understad and help me with this.
