Default 92 sport xj 2wd into 99 xj sport 4wd? Engine swap

just wondering before I take my daily driver apart if my 92 motor will fit into a 99 I know some of the sensors are different but will the intake fit ? And are the motor mounts in the same location?

The 99 intake is better than the 92 so you can swap just the intake onto the 92 head. I think the map sensor is part of the throttle body on the 99 that might be the only thing you have to mess with make sure you get the intake/ exhaust man gasket that matches the head you use but i think all pre 2000 are the same or interchangeable..the power steering brackets are not the same between the 92 and 99 use the 99 config its better i think its pretty much a drop in and go with just some minor adjustments. Way back when i put a 97 rig stroker into my 92 with no real issues
