92 Cherokee XJ transmission fluid question
I'm new to the forum and a fairly new Cherokee owner. I have a 92 Cherokee Laredo, 4.0 with 4 sp auto tranny. I added a transmission fluid cooler today and went to top the fluid off and added 1/2 quart of ATF +4 before I thought. I own and have owned several Chrysler products and just assumed this would use the same fluid. I know, never assume. But after the 1/2 quart I thought to check. Will this 1/2 quart ATF +4 fluid hurt my transmission and if so, how is it best to replace all the fluid. I know draining the pan only gets so much out of it.
