90-95 cruise control
Just like to know what kind of cruise control options were available for the older XJ.
I have 95 cherokee sport with a cruise set up, but it looks aftermarket.
Anyone aware or know anything about Specifc cruise system Inc.?
I have model SN#700119
Everything seems to be hooked up, but I just cannot get it to work?
So what options are out there? And was cruise standard on older XJs?
Thank you for any info. And keep Jeepin.

What's wrong with that knowledge base? Do you have a problem with your cruise control?
If you want people to ID your part you need to post a pic.
Cruise was optional on all models.

Yes the cruise does not activate while on freeway.
Dont know what good a photo would do.
Its a specific cruise system Inc. Control box.

I do not have cruise control in mine but I do know that the factory Jeep cruise control is a panel, just below the airbag of the steering wheel. Mine just has a solid piece of plastic, in place of where the cruise control would go. HTH!

Never heard of a "Cruise System Inc". Did tou check for blown fuses? Is a light supposed to come on when it's active, like the factory cruise? Has it ever worked?

Vacuumed controlled unit.
There is No light to tell me its activated.
Looks like stock set up, from looking at vacuum and cable connections.
The cruise control switch is not on steering wheel. It is located on right side of steering box. Like a turn/signal switch.
Will try and post photos later.
