89 Laredo wont start

Model: Cherokee
Ballast resistor, fuel pump relay replaced. Found a jeep mechanic who served his apprenticeship on these jeepsTook it to him and he has both a ms1700 and a snaponn 2500 with all the leads and discs. May cost me a case of beer, but at least I will know
