'89 Cherokee transmission identification question
1989 models typically have the Peugeot transmission that is not worth rebuilding. I will need an AX15 and rather than buy new I prefer to have it rebuilt from an AX15 core.
How do I determine beyond doubt which transmission I have?
I probably have the older Peugeot but I want to know for sure so I can plan it out. The transmission I have is shot and the vehicle sidelined.
