I'm worried about the temperatures too for starting to lay down the CS. I'm not sure how it compares to painting in colder conditions but I'm sure not as well. I wonder if heating my garage would do it. Here it is already halfway through October, and I've still got sooo much work to do....starting TODAY!

The fumes aren't too bad, though since I do it outside I wouldn't know really haha. It smells about like regular paint I guess, nothing extreme

Tomorrow I will be hopefully getting some fiberglass on the backside of my rocker panel, trying to get it sealed finally before the wretched white stuff falls!
I will be posting pictures up when it's done. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it much!

Well I started a thread about the fiberglass but that went nowhere. What do you think? I know it's not the conventional way to fix things, but when life hands you lemons...

Go ahead and glass it. It will work, can't hurt.
There is a welder and a zip cut disc in your future. You can always cut it out and do it over on the next rebuild. Even when it's really really really bad, you can fix it. Get it closed up before the snow, have a continued go at it in the spring. No Snow? Too late for that here. Best of luck to you!

HOLY COW!!! That's around 402,000 miles! I am fully astounded! Here in Maine they not only use salt, that put down some weird liquid calcium crap too. So we get the double whammy.. My Jeepy has an engine, tranny, and transfer case from a '92 with god-know-how-many miles REALLY. Buuuut she's been taken care of well, so I think I'm alright! Gonna keep chuggin-on, and see how many more years she has
