I'm sorry but I hope you have good insurance. If you get hit by another vehicle that pop riveted tin can is gonna kill you and worse yet any innocent passengers you have riding with you. Unibody vehicles rely on the body being structurally sound. That means welded seams and panel joints. Cheap a$$ pop rivets are not going to offer any of that in a collision. I would hope you can see where I'm coming from, this is just not safe.

I didn't think The rocker was structural, I saw the pillar go to the subframe behind it, and I wasn't really warned about that. I will definitely Get it welded in as soon as I can. Thanks for the heads-up!

A quick trip

I know a guy that had part of the frame on his truck rotted out, right above the rear axle.... He bondo'd it and it passed inspection.....

It's a Unibody, every part part or section ties into another to maintain structural integrity. Take one part out or fix it incorrectly and you compromise everything.
