got a 87 xj 5spd 235k recent just did the lube changes in front, rear, tranny and tc. i used 80w 90w gl5, and atf in tc. Now there a is loud metal to metal nosie coming in the tranny area when i push in the clutch and release it. shifts fine. throw out bearing?

k i will buy a new clutch kit. now the throwout bearing should come with it. but you never know how do i find out what tranny i have? is it an ax15?

....I've got an '87 with the peugot 5 speed....if that helps.

1987 – Mid-1989 : Peugeot BA-10/5 5-speed manual used with 4.0 L I6, 21 spline output.

okay so is there a clutch fork ir is it just the throw out bear?
