Default 87 wiring fun

I've been going through the wiring on my 87 cherokee, and I found a computer box from bendix hooked up. I can't figure out what it's supposed to do, but it's clear that one of the previous owners just went through randomly adding things to the wiring. anybody recognize it? I've tried getting in contact with the company, but they haven't responded, and I'm tired of waiting.

no, it was hooked into the wiring harness under the dash. It has a 32 pin and a 24 pin connector going into it.

I have never pulled mine out but it appears to be your pcm,or computer samething. It should have been just to the right of your steering wheel.

perhaps...the reason i was curious is because Bendix makes brakes and stability systems for commercial trucks. This is the first time i've seen one of their products on something else.

That is why I asked if it was under the backseat, because that is where the computer for the abs is located on jeeps with abs, when I first looked at the photo it looks just like the computer but bendix confused me.
