Hey guys, can any of you tell me or show me what the starter solenoid set up looks like on an 85 XJ or the like? And where the connecting wires are placed? I screwed up and didn't label the wires and the Haynes manual that I have doesnt explain jack.

Are you talking about the solenoid on top of the starter or the motorcraft solenoid by the battery?

When you get done with, yours should look pretty, like mine. I'm pretty sure it's the top green that goes right to the solenoid. Doesn't show well here, but the orange goes above the two greens. Hope this helps!

Dflintstone is a typo. Wanted "DC". It needed three so I put in flintstone..., but the d stuck somehow...defiantly not stoned!

And yea, . o well, a decent photo of the wrong ugly relay.

I wonder if that orange is a good place to test the orange out of the ignition switch.
