I am finishing my 8.25 bearing replacement. This is my first time doing a rear end so i just wanted to confirm before shipping it. I Replaced both carrier and pinion bearings with new, new crush sleeve. Reused old 3.55 gears. I went through all the steps with setup. Got the right pinion rotational torque, set up the adjusters right and got a good backlash on the carrier of 0.06. On the tight side but seems good. Torqued adjusters and caps down to the right torque and this is my pattern. I finally ran the pinion with a drill attachment to try and put as much load on the ring and pinion to get a accurate reading. Remember this is used gears not new. To me it seems good just want to get opinions. Thanks Mike.
