8.25 replace spider gears?

Last night one of the spider gears on the rear end of my 96 grenaded, I can only assume due to damage caused by the 33" tires the PO had on it. Can the spiders be replaced without taking the whole diff apart?

I think so. I know you can pull the spider gears out to replace them with an lunchbox locker without taking apart the diff. That's what I would do, why not I mean you're already doing the work and it's not much more expensive
