OK, so it's not totally OEM, but the part that I have questions about is. I've got an Aussie locker in my rear 8.25. I'm changing out my axle seals today but when I removed the cross shaft I noticed some unusual wear, it looks to be an unevenly hardened pin judging by the wear. Diameter of the pin was measured with a digital caliper at .803", diameter across the worn indent is .799" So, question is, is 4 thousandths of an inch something to worry about? Is the unevenness something to worry about? The wear is right where the pin makes contact with a cog. All 7 other contact points are perfectly fine.
