4x4 Problems -> front wheels won't spin.
I removed the rear driveshaft, put it into 4HI (and 4LO for the matter), put the tranny into drive; the car didn't want to move, so I got out and looked underneath, the driveshaft does spin.
I shut it off and went about checking all of the vacuum lines, no cracks or splits or disconnected lines. I found the vacuum canister and it is still sealed.
What else do you recommend I check? My friend told me to take the wheels off because I may have manual hubs or my auto hubs aren't locking.

You apparently have vacuum disconnect. I'd start the Jeep, switch to 4wd (With the Jeep in park) then climb under there and see if you have vacuum on the lines to the disconnect.
The second thing I'd do I buy a block off place and install a 1-piece shaft to do away with that feature.

Notorious failure point. Just do this and be done with it:

I checked for vacuum, all of the lines except for the green one has vacuum to them. Where does the green one go to?
