4wd won’t enguage

Default 4wd won’t enguage
My 4wd won’t enguage. When I shift the transfer case, my front driveshaft will lock, but my front tires don’t turn. I was thinking it was my actutor cable, or something wrong inside my differential, what should I check?

It's likely the vacuum operated axle shifting on the front axle.

eliminate it in 30 minutes. Here's how.

I thought they got rid of the CAD on the 91 models?
