T-case won't disengage 4wd.
My girlfriend has just purchased an '89 XJ. I was driving it around yesterday seeing how it handled and checking things out. I shifted into 4H and it engaged fine. When I tried to shift back into 2H it wouldn't shift. It hadn't been driven in a while when we bought it and I'm 90% percent sure 4wd was rarely used by the previous owner who is also the original owner. Anyway, it's still stuck in 4H and I'm hoping you guys can lead me in the right direction before she has to take it on the road tomorrow. This is her new DD so she can't leave it parked tomorrow. And I don't want to end up sleeping on the couch if the T-case gets damaged before we can fix it.
