Default 4.0L H.O TO NON-H.O Swap

Hey guys i need some help here i bought my 95 cherokee with a bad H.O motor. I went and got a motor off a donor that was non H.O. I have not been able to get this thing running right since it has a knock to it every once and a while and sometimes it dies. I think the problem has to do with the (knock sensor) if im right the H.O. do not need a knock sensor but the Non H.O does, so the motor that's in it need the sensor and my jeep does not have a plug for that sensor since it came stock with a H.O. motor.

ANY WAY AROUND THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HO head/intake/exhaust on the non-HO block, hook up like the normal and if you still have problems then its something electrical

I honestly don't think the knock sensor is causing your problems. If the computer/harness has no plug for it, then no signal is getting to the computer.

The computer that controlled the renix motor needed the knock sensor, the HO ECU doesnt. The actual motor doesnt care as long as the timing is advanced as needed
