4.0 has almost 200k miles on it and has a tick that started 2 months ago, It goes away with warming up and isnt as loud when warmed up on the highway. it sounds like its coming from one side but its honestly hard to tell.

 

sounds a lot like this guys video and its only bad on cold start and starts going away when it warms up

 

Next time it does it, shut it off immediately. Wait 10 seconds and start it. Noise gone or reduced? It's a lifter.
What brand oil filter are you using?

 

STP filter and it’s almost constant, changes with revs, is worst when it’s a colder morning

 

STP filters are bottom of the barrel.

Try what I suggested in the post above and report back.
