Just search the forum or google before you post. There is a hundred post on this subject. Depends on axles and how you drive.

wont trust the d35 rear. so you just want the 35's for looks? plan on regearing, it will be super sluggish without at least 4.56 gear. I would am more at 4.88 gears

If it only see's the street and you dont do alot of sweet burnout's then you will be just fine.

Once you take it off road and start goosing it though that D35 is gonna break sooner or later. As i've seen they dont take too much to break, even if you dont drive super hard.

Front axle should be fine unless you are total madman on the gas.

1) complete sentences have periods and commas.
2) just regearing with not save the axles. it will just put your rpm's in the correct range.
3) stick to the tires you have. you will be opening up a can of worms install the 35's.

I see you live in Dover , Pa . Go to Mt. Zion Offroad and see if they have a stronger rear there or , go to Rodney's down the street and see if he has a Chrysler 8.25 rear out of an XJ .

yea i kno about both of them places but this is my DD i already got an axle from rodney's. i was doin burnouts with my 33s showin up a f150 and snapped the center pin in two places. but once i get my GC fixed and DD that then i can replace the axle. so for now i guess it will just wait

Come on, don't bash him on his post and then mess up in yours.
I think you meant will.

The D35 is a turd . If you can get yuor hands on an 8.25 , do it . I'm still running one in mine with 35 SSR's and running BLACKS @ Rausch Creek . Most Chrys 8.25's came with 3.55 gearing . Gas mileage will suck , but , it will handle your burnouts .

just wheel it with the d30/d35 setup, you will be just fine. make sure you hammer on the gas a lot though to make sure your axles are under constant pressure to ensure they won't break or anything. hope i helped

A d35 would handle running on the street with 35"s, but like everyone else says, gearing will be a problem. I run 33"s on stock gearing and its kind of pushing it....overdrive is useless. If you plan to regear, dont waste money on the 35....look for a 8.25 or a 44.

Next cherokee you see, peek under at the rear end and see if it has a 8.25, then look at your 35 to notice how wimpy it looks...
