Greetings,
We all know about the Clearwater head, but what do you guys think about this? https://enginequest.com/product/new-...plete-no-core/
They don't require a core return and it's the same price as the Clearwater head.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Either one has proven to pretty much fix any issues with the 0331 style head, so unless you have aspirations of porting it, or cutting the face significantly, I'd go with whichever is cheaper. The TUPY head will have at least the one rebuild on it, perhaps cutting the face to flatten it, which the new head *should* allow for that one additional rebuild. On the flip side of that, used parts have been stress-relieved to a certain point, warped about as much as they're going to warp, so a rebuild head may stay truer. I believe Russ Pottenger over at JeepStrokers uses aftermarket heads, so unless I'm mistaken on that, that's enough to say that they're up to the job. If a professionally ported head is on your mind, he's the guy...
