a 30x10.50 is the largest that you can go with out getting any rubbing. You might get a way with a 31 but I do know you will get a lot of rubbing if you try to run it off road. Unless you do a lot of fender cutting then it wont be a problem. Good luck and let us know what happens if you try them.

I have a 3in lift I just don't have a garage that I can fit my jeep in, and I'm trying to wait for the summer when I have money, I'm doing a 2wd to 4wd and planed on doing that and the lift at the same time

Stock Jeep in stock form will not fit 31 10.50 with out rubbing.
Trim the fenders the fronts will clear great. The rear trimmed will rub when really flexing. ( I need to trim some more on mine)

31's are fine for the road and light wheeling on stock suspension... You'll get a little rub on the lca's at full lock and maybe a little rub in the back on bad bumps if your heavily loaded but that's about it. It limits your flex off road but if you need tires now and are lifting come soon, I'd go 31's..
if you wanna fit 31s and never lift it for 31s, heres how i would do it. gather a set of 2" lift shocks, bump stops, ditch your rear sway, and grab some front discos. cut your fenders and your set.

You will need to cut the front fenders and make room in the rear wheel well also. I would get some rims with better backspacing or you will probly rub the control arms and the inner rear wheel well. You will also likely need a small lift in the rear because you just dont have enough room to not rub the top of the wheel well. A set of lift shackles will do and you can put those in really easy.
I put 31s on mine when it was stock it rubbed pretty bad, I did cut a little off the front.I ended up getting a daystar 3 in spacer kit for 160 bucks. No rub now.
Look at my pic. I have 31x10.50s and it doesn't rub so far. Haven't really thrashed on it off road too bad though. I'm sure it would rub pretty good doing that haha
