I have a friend who runs the Rock Krawler 3 link lift on his XJ. He has about 8" of lift and runs 36" Iroks. It has excellent articulation and regularly outperforms mine and other XJs. The only problem is that he has to trailer it as it is pretty dangerous to drive on the road at much over 35mph. Great for a trailered rig, but not great for a daily driver or something you want to drive to the trail. He has been considering getting the 4th link from Rock Krawler for some of our easier trips where he does not need all the articulation so that he can drive it to the trail.

its for a DD. is it safe to run a 6.5 inch lift onroad with it? or would it cause bad steering problems?

I had a RK 3 link in my TJ. Was great on the road.. Just do not take off your front swaybar, get disco's... You will be fine.. I regularly had it at 80 on the highway.

I have a homegrown three link that works well on and off road. You just need to cover all the bases like any other lift.

I have Rock Krawler 3 link on my 94 with a Keven's offroad custom adjustable track bar, buy JKS ,5" lift and 32" BFG All-terrains. No bump steer or death wobble, handles grate takes sharp corners at 40 mph no problem . I have had this in stalled for 6 years now and the shocks are getting a little tired and I notice more body roll than when it was new and at high way speeds any quick maneuvers it gets a little squirrely .Off road with quick disconnects on the sway bar it works awesome all and all I'm happy with it, just remember a good lift is all in how you set up the steering geometry. The new RK system looks like it has some improvements and a 300$ higher price tag .I have Rock Krawler 3 link on my 94 with a Keven's offroad custom adjustable track bar, buy JKS ,5" lift and 32" BFG All-terrains. Something is wrong then if it drives that bad...

More stable
less likely to unload at inconvenient times
binding (radius arms will be fighting each other as the suspension cycles)

And its not all that hard to put together after a little bit of research.

Its all about the sway bar, it can't go anywhere if you've got a good setup. Plus it should help to not run soft springs. I just bought an Ironrock Critical Path long arm setup. This stuff is stout. You can tell its heavy wall tubing by the weight. Not to mention its like 2" Dia. construction. I'm going to take some pictures when I do the install; still waiting on my 4.5" springs. Mine is my daily too.

I just did that same Iron Rock Offroad kit. It seems to be just fine on the road. I have put about 250 to 300 miles on it and no problems. I would recommend this set up for anyone with a DD. Im only at about 5in of lift right now to. It may be a little more noticable with higher ones.
