Check out my threads on iron rock. I love my three link. Had it almost a year. Awsome articulation. I have no complaints....

The IRO kit is not a true three link... Its just a radius arm setup with one upper link removed. It will still have the basic bad handling characteristics of the radius arm,

Not trying to bash radius arms.. but if you're gunna do it, do it right the first time.

the iro kit is actualy the one i just bought.. ive been waiting for it to come in the mail and i read alot on other forums about bashing the 3 links cuz there unstable.. but now ive stoped worring and ive decided to try it for myself.. if i feel its unstable (which is highly unlikely from what ive been hearing about the positives) then i can just move it back to short arms and sell it on c-list or something..
thanks guys for the input! it helps alot!
although it doesnt help that its 3 days past delivery date.. i wana give em a call and see whats up.

After reading this I checked out my friends cherokee again and realized that he runs no sway bar at all (he trailers it everywhere). It does not have issues with bump-steer, but he does get a wobble at higher speeds (he thinks from his unbalanced, beadlocked tires). He also has it set up for maximum articulation and not street driveability. The problem is it sways pretty good and with the wobble from the tires makes it feel pretty unsafe at higher speeds. Obviously there are several things he could do beyond adding a 4th link that would make it drive much better on the road.

that makes much more sence.. runing sway bars and a stiffer shock with proper tire balance should keep mine streetable.
if there is to much body roll is there a sway bar upgrade? from a diffrent vehicle?
i called iro and i guess they make the kits as they go? the pieces had to come back from powder coating even tho i got a tracking number that says they left 2 weeks ago. im kind of lost on this one.

And its not all that hard to put together after a little bit of research.
I think it fits better under the front end vs a 4link.

The V8 ZJ sway bar is a direct bolt in and a MUCH thicker bar. It is stiffer for when it is connected. It is a great upgrade.

be sure to grab the bushings too (well if they are good) because the thicker bar uses different bushings(obviously). again direct bolt on tho

Sorry to hear that you went with a radias arm ssystem. I think you will be un happy with the way it performs offroad. I have run both systems in the past.. Had the Rusty's LA back in the day, and I am currently running the RK 3 link set up. I think the next rig I build will have the PolyPerformance 3 link. I like there link mounts better.

All the same add some quality disco's, and the ZJ sway bar. Also add some limit straps... you will really need them with the radias arm setup.

Great for a trailered rig, but not great for a daily driver or something you want to drive to the trail. He has been considering getting the 4th link from Rock Krawler for some of our easier trips where he does not need all the articulation so that he can drive it to the trail.
hes got issues not related to the 3 link...

...however adding even that 4th link isn't going to do anything.
