Default 3.73 gears

I have an oppurtunity to get D30 3.73 gears free with some miles on them but free. I will then get 3.73 gears for the 8.25 out back. Question is will these gears be good for running the 32's I have better? Anyone have any experiance with 3.73's?

Will be better then 3.55's but I think 4.10's or 4.56's would be better..

Anything numerically higher is always better with larger tires but your increment with 3.73:1 is so small that I doubt you will feel any difference.

Free is always good. Get it for a build up then once you have it built super strong you can swap it into your Cherokee.

Its just the gears so I am not sure if it is worth the hassel of swapping them in my axle if they arent going to do anything.

It'll give you additional 78 horsepower.

Don't we wish. You'll feel it a little more peppier, maybe a little more power but nothing MAJOR.

theres no point installing those gears, they are way too shallow.id say go 4.56 and bump up to 33s. The install is the expensive part on gears it seems, so do it right the first time haah
